BoDeans Atlantic city Concert reviews
Thomas Rhett stole the show!
Let me start by saying any show at the Stroh Center is fantastic! It's a small, new venue at BGSU that isn't cramped, and you won't find a bad seat there!
The opening act, Joanna Smith, was decent. Her voice was a bit too "same ole, same ole," but she did have some sweet songs. My daughter had the chance to meet her, and she was very friendly. We ended up purchasing her 5-song CD for $5.
BoDeans, the main act, put on a good show. While I adore many of his songs on the radio, he didn't quite measure up in a live setting, especially after the amazing performance by Thomas Rhett as the opener. BoDeans sang well and was enjoyable to watch. I bought his NEON album, but I'm not sure I would pay to see him live again.
On the other hand, I would absolutely pay to attend a full concert by Thomas Rhett! He was phenomenal – funny, creative, and a genuine entertainer. We were impressed by him and are eagerly anticipating what he has in store for the future!
